Paymos lets a business accept USDT payments on TON. Every invoice gets a dedicated address, Paymos monitors the blockchain and required confirmations, and the confirmed amount is credited to the merchant's USDT balance with no automatic conversion and no markup hidden in the rate.
What Paymos accepts on TON
The supported payment asset on TON is USDT. USDC, USD1, DAI and XAUT are not supported on this network in Paymos.
GRAM, formerly the TON ticker, is not an invoice payment asset. A sending wallet may need GRAM to pay the network fee for a USDT transfer, but the merchant's invoice and balance remain denominated in USDT.
USDT exists on several networks, so the customer must use TON for a TON invoice. Sending USDT over Tron, Ethereum or another chain does not count as the specified TON transfer.
How a TON USDT payment works
- The merchant creates a Paymos invoice through checkout, Payment Links, POS, a CMS plugin, the Low-Code SDK, or the REST API.
- The customer selects USDT on TON.
- Paymos assigns a dedicated deterministic address to the invoice.
- The checkout displays the required network, amount and address.
- Paymos detects the transfer and waits for the applicable confirmations.
- The confirmed payment is credited as USDT and the invoice status is updated.
The dedicated-address model keeps attribution tied to the invoice rather than asking the merchant to run a TON listener. API users can receive status changes through HMAC-SHA256-signed webhooks.
TON confirms after one block
Paymos does not promise a universal completion time for every TON payment. Every TON masterchain block is final, so a payment is confirmed after one block rather than at a depth that changes with the amount.
A transaction broadcast or wallet notification is not the same as a completed Paymos invoice. Merchants should fulfill an order from the Paymos status, because the state of the network decides when that block arrives.
TON network fees and Paymos pricing
The payer's wallet pays the TON network fee for sending USDT. That fee goes to the network and can change; Paymos does not set it or advertise a guaranteed fixed cost. The customer should have enough GRAM for gas before attempting the transfer.
Paymos covers the network cost of accepting and consolidating the payment. Standard pricing is 1.0% per settled invoice. Enterprise pricing is 0.3% on request. There is no setup fee, monthly fee, minimum volume, reserve, rolling reserve, or charge for unpaid, expired or cancelled invoices.
USDT remains USDT after settlement
Paymos credits a TON payment to the merchant's USDT balance. It does not quietly swap the payment into another stablecoin or fiat and does not embed a hidden conversion fee in a rate.
Balances are per asset rather than per network. Supported USDT received on TON and supported USDT received on another network contribute to the USDT balance. At withdrawal, the merchant chooses an available payout network and a destination from the withdrawal whitelist.
There is no Paymos processing commission on withdrawal. Where the chosen payout network carries a network fee, the amount is disclosed first — and it is less than the route costs to send.
When TON belongs in checkout
TON is a useful option when customers already hold USDT on TON and have the native asset needed for gas. It can be enabled alongside Tron, Ethereum and other Paymos networks without creating a separate merchant-side payment system.
Do not route a customer to TON merely because the token symbol says USDT. Ask which network their funds are on and show the exact network at checkout. A correct token-network match is more important than a generic claim about speed or fees.
Integration and custody controls
Hosted Checkout, Embedded Checkout, Payment Links and Low-Code SDK provide customer-facing instructions, including address and QR-based payment data. H2H REST API, official CMS plugins and POS cover other merchant workflows.
Outgoing transactions are signed on isolated infrastructure. Payout addresses are separately restricted through withdrawal whitelisting.
