Terms of Service

Last updated: June 13, 2026

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of Paymos (the "Service"), a stablecoin payment infrastructure operated from the Republic of Seychelles ("we", "us", "our"). By registering for the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accept these Terms in full and the Privacy Policy.

If you are accepting on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are authorized to bind it.

2. The Service

Paymos provides:

  • Stablecoin payment acceptance across 13 production blockchain networks.
  • Invoices via REST API, dashboard, payment links, drop-in widget, hosted checkout, point-of-sale terminal, and CMS plugins.
  • Withdrawals of your balance in USDT or USDC to whitelisted wallets, from the dashboard or via API. Supported withdrawal networks and any applicable fees are shown on the pricing page and in your dashboard.
  • Payment-status notifications via signed webhooks.

We may add, change, or discontinue features. We do not buy or sell digital assets from you, and we do not provide investment, tax, or legal advice.

3. Eligibility and Registration

To use the Service you must create an account and be at least 18 years old. Sign-in is passwordless. No identity documents are required to start. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

We may require identity verification later under our AML/KYC Policy.

4. Custody and Settlement

Funds you accept are settled in the same stablecoin the customer paid — there is no automatic conversion to another asset or to fiat, and no off-ramp to a bank account.

Paymos uses two settlement paths:

  • Funds held in Paymos custody are secured with multi-party computation (MPC) threshold signing — no single key exists on the network, and balances are segregated, not pooled.
  • Funds in transit through third-party settlement infrastructure are routed through third-party blockchain infrastructure and cross-chain settlement providers that we do not own or control (see Clause 5). The segregation and custody guarantees above do not apply while funds are in that leg.

5. Third-Party Settlement Infrastructure

To support payments across many networks, a portion of inbound payments is routed through independent third-party blockchain infrastructure and cross-chain settlement providers. These providers are not operated or controlled by Paymos, and your use of them may be subject to their own terms.

We do not guarantee the uptime, performance, or security of any third-party provider. Outages, delays, technical errors, exploits, or loss of assets attributable to such providers are not Paymos' responsibility, and you accept that risk.

6. Fees

The standard processing fee is 1.0% per settled invoice. High-volume merchants may qualify for a reduced rate of 0.3% on request. There is no setup fee, no monthly minimum, and no reserve. You may choose to pass the processing fee to the customer, split it, or absorb it. Current pricing is on the pricing page. We may change pricing with 30 days' notice.

Fees apply only to settled invoices. We do not charge for declined or expired invoices.

7. Merchant Obligations and Compliance

The legality, licensing, and regulatory compliance of your business is your sole obligation and your sole risk. Paymos does not vet, license-check, approve, or refuse merchant categories, and makes no determination about whether your business is permitted to operate.

You agree to comply with all laws applicable to you, including anti-money-laundering and sanctions law. Paymos does not screen your customers or counterparties. We may request identity verification, apply account limits, suspend operations, or mirror a restriction imposed by an upstream settlement provider as described in our AML/KYC Policy.

8. Prohibited Use

You may not use the Service for:

  • Money laundering or terrorism financing.
  • Transactions involving sanctioned persons or jurisdictions.
  • Sale of goods or services prohibited by applicable law.
  • Fraud or any unlawful activity.

On detecting a violation, we may block the account, freeze funds pending investigation, and report to competent authorities.

9. Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from:

  • Cryptocurrency price volatility.
  • Blockchain network delays, congestion, reorganizations, or failures.
  • Acts or omissions of third parties, including settlement providers, wallets, and blockchain networks.

Crypto transactions are irreversible. There are no chargebacks, and a confirmed payment cannot be reversed by Paymos.

10. No Regulated Services

Paymos is not licensed or regulated by any financial regulatory authority to provide regulated financial services, and the Service is not offered as regulated financial services. It is your responsibility to determine whether your use of the Service is permitted under the laws that apply to you. Nothing here is investment, tax, or legal advice.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by withdrawing your remaining balance. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, or discontinue the Service with 30 days' notice.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. The current version is always on this page. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Seychelles, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
