Paymos Editorial Policy

Who writes Paymos content

Paymos publishes articles under three catalogued bylines:

• Paymos Team covers the product, merchant workflows, and general payment infrastructure.
• Claude C., Senior Engineering Writer at Paymos, covers settlement mechanics, chain-head correctness, ledger invariants, and merchant integration patterns.
• Paymos Tech covers deep technical guides, confirmation policy, webhook security, and engineering implementation.

Each article names the author responsible for that material. Localized versions of one article keep the same author. We do not invent additional biographies, credentials, social profiles, customer results, or first-hand experience.

Product claims

Every Paymos product claim must match the current canonical product-facts file before publication. Uncertain, contradictory, planned, or unconfirmed capabilities are omitted. Roadmap items are not described as available features.

Product pages and articles distinguish:

• a Paymos product fact;
• a general technical explanation;
• a third-party or issuer fact;
• a variable network value;
• an editorial recommendation.

Exact network fees and confirmation times are not treated as permanent product facts. They change with the selected network, payment amount, wallet, and current blockchain conditions.

Sources

Technical and market claims should use the closest available primary source: official protocol documentation, issuer documentation, standards bodies, regulators, or a provider's own dated terms. Secondary research can provide context but must not replace an available primary source for a material claim.

Sources are attached to the claim they support and include an access date when the fact can change. A source list does not make an unsupported statement reliable.

Comparisons and fees

Provider comparisons separate an advertised processing rate from the complete payment path. Editors check processing, blockchain movement, conversion, settlement asset, withdrawal, minimums, reserves, and operational requirements.

Paymos does not label a competitor fee “hidden” without dated evidence showing the actual charge or rate mechanism. When public information is incomplete, the comparison says so. Variable quotes are dated and are not presented as permanent prices.

Review and corrections

Articles display publication and modification dates. Material product, regulatory, network, or provider changes trigger a new review. Editors correct confirmed errors in the source content rather than silently defending an outdated statement.

To report a factual error, send the page URL, the disputed statement, and a supporting primary source through the contact page. Paymos will review the evidence and update the page when a correction is warranted.

Use of AI tools

Editors may use software and AI tools for research organization, drafting, translation checks, and consistency checks. Those tools are not treated as sources. Final claims remain subject to the same product-fact and primary-source requirements, and publication remains the responsibility of Paymos.
